Villa Alamanda
Villa Alamanda is a luxurious tropical hideaway tucked
between the rushing Petanu River and a quiet village of
woodcarvers. The villa is set amidst the forest canopy, 8
minutes of Ubud, the cultural center of Bali.
By day, guests can stretch out by in the spacious and
beautiful pool surrounding, on the elegant hardwood terrace,
or in the front garden. And by night, the tallest palms
silhouette against the vast starlit wonderland to stir all
romantic hearts. When sleep beckons, each room has been
carefully and elegantly designed to round off the perfect
Balinese sanctuary.
Accommodation
The villa boast 4 luxurious bedrooms, fitted out to the
highest standards, including Master bedroom, two guest rooms
and one newly-created garden suite.
All four bedrooms are completed to premium hotel quality
standard - dark hardwood flooring, and surround
air-conditioning. Each bedroom has a king-sized bed, bed-side
tables, writing table, generous closet, electronic room safe,
and is fully furnished with linen and towels. A large modern
ensuite bathroom is equipped with hot/cold water supply,
marble tub and basin, side-table, shower, toilet, hair dryer,
shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and soap.
Each individual bedroom is carefully designed in a simple,
elegant but honey style, and decorated in a collection of
collection of contemporary Balinese art pieces and fabric.
Master bedroom - imposing and spacious.
You can enjoy views in two directions: over the garden and
pool from the ensuite bathroom, and the bamboo and tropical
trees out over the river valley. Local phone line is
available.
2 Guest rooms - adjacent to each other both facing
the valley of the Petanu River. Each showcases a contemporary
boutique art-style, with stunning contrasts of colors and
textures.
Garden suite - separated from the main building by
its own path through the front garden, the suite offers a
touch more privacy, for honeymooners or the
independent-minded. It has satellite TV, DVD/VCD player, and
serves as an extra common living area when a fourth bedroom is
not necessary, with a long curvaceous wooden sofa and a large
floor cushion.
The Pool
A huge 13x9 meter swimming pool has a drooping frangipani
shroud at one end, and an infinity border overlooking thick
layers of forest.
In daytime, the large thatched Bale by the swimming pool
serves as an ideal shelter from the hot sun. The raised lounge
bed topped with mattress and cushions can easily fit a small
family or 2 couples who decide to nap through the afternoon at
the same time. The big comfortable L-shaped sofa with coffee
table sits 6 for a light lunch, afternoon tea or early evening
cocktail before dinner.
4 sunbathing chair are moveable for you to catch the best
of the sun, or escape into the shade of two palms. A round
marble outdoor table with 4 chairs by the pool is ideal for
breakfast, brunch or table games.
The huge farden lawn by the pool is completely secluded,
great for outdoor activities like badminton or even a baby's
crawling. In case of celebrating a birthday party or wedding
anniversary while in Bali, the lawn can turn to a perfect
stage for traditional Balinese dance. At night, the pool and
the garden area are lit up graciously for an extended evening
of relaxed chatter and late night swimming.
Lobby Lounge and Dining Area
In the middle of the terrace, the dining table hosts 8 people
comfortably to wine and dine at leisure, and offers
unparalleled views over virgin green forest. This is a perfect
location for a formal evening dinner with uniquely designed
lighting and relaxing music at the background.
On both left and right of the terrace, there are two
separate resting areas outside the Master bedroom and the two
adjacent guest rooms.
